OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M “Beijing 2022” Special Edition

OMEGA, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, has begun the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 celebration early, with the introduction of the Seamaster Diver 300M “Beijing 2022” Special Edition.

The special edition 42 mm stainless steel model, is not just another iteration of the popular dive watch, but with a few added commemorative touches .

On the sun-brushed blue ceramic dial, in addition to the laser-engraved waves and rhodium-plated indexes and hands filled with Super-LumiNova, there are five minute-markers – at 2 o’clock, 4 o’clock, 8 o’clock, 10 o’clock and 12 o’clock – in the five colors of the iconic Olympic rings.

As for the reverse side of the watch, the polished and brushed caseback includes a stamped Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 emblem. OMEGA’s patented NAIAD LOCK system keeps all the engravings in perfect alignment, while behind the caseback sits the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. Having passed eight tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), the model is guaranteed to offer precision, performance and magnetic resistance.

The special edition timepiece is set on a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet that features OMEGA’s patented extendable foldover rack-and-pusher with an extra diver extension.

Beijing 2022 will mark OMEGA’s 30th occasion as the official timekeeper recording the dreams of the world’s greatest athletes and time many of the most famous sporting moments in history.
