Prostate cancer is a malignant tumour in the prostate gland which can spread over time to other parts of the human body if not treated in time. And because prostate cancer grows very slowly, it is illogical to expect patients to discover this cancer earlier. As a matter of fact, most prostate cancer patients are unaware of this illness until they enter into their late forties.
According to research in 2021, prostate cancer is not only the most common cancer amongst the male group but also the third most prevalent cancer in Malaysia. These facts alone point to the importance of promoting; however, there is great reluctance to discuss this topic due to taboo in many societies.
On this health and wellness show, Tan Sri Nazir Razak, Chairman and Founding Partner of Ikhlas Capital, and Professor Dr Christopher Cheng, a Urologist at Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital speak frankly about prostate cancer from their lens of survivors of this illness.
