Shippit, founded in Australia in 2014, started off working with a handful of fashion and homeware boutiques in Sydney. But, it now powers delivery for hundreds of retailers across Australia sending thousands of deliveries every single month.
Since its official launch in Singapore in July 2020, the company has been scaling up in order to capitalise on Southeast Asia’s projected US$172 billion ecommerce industry.
Mark walks us through his interesting background as one of the pioneers in the ecommerce industry in Australia in the mid 2000’s and how that has helped him to understand and adapt in the quest to grow Shippit in Asia as a latecomer to the ecommerce party here.
