Helping F&B entrepreneurs survive

This is a special edition of the SME show where we took a look at the F&B SME’s from a macro and micro perspective, and shared some best practices, success and recovery stories.

Dr Ong and Tham discuss some of key issues and also brought up specific examples of what entrepreneurs are doing to pivot, where the opportunities are and how costs could be cut as well as new sources of revenue could be obtained.

They answer some questions which were directly posted to them by the audience after the initial discussion.

Alan, an F&B entrepreneur from Johor Bahru, who is one of the audience shares his journey of how he had to downsize his outlets. He also gives valuable insights on the Johor Bahru F&B market and talks about where the opportunities could be as the economy starts to open up again.
