Many Malaysians’ livelihoods have been disrupted by the on-going Movement Control Order (MCO).
The Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) and Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM) have come together to raise funds for a food aid initiative to assist families in need.
Both organisations aim to raise RM500,000 which will benefit more than 10,000 families within the Klang Valley and its adjacent vicinities. To date, they have raised more than RM300,00 and helped 7,000 families.
Shirley Tay, President of MRCA and Datuk Tan Chong Guan, President of DSAM explain more on their initiative collaboration to help the broader community impacted by the pandemic, and how they would like to do more.
They also talk about how the public or the business community can play a part to offer support for this movement.
