The Budimas Charitable Foundation is a Non-governmental and Non-profitable organisation. The foundation’s mission and vision is to provide funding and support the wellbeing of the underprivileged children in Malaysia; giving them love and hope for the future.
The foundation has been addressing the needs of the underprivileged children for the past ten years via their three programmes; the Budimas Home Charity Fund, the Budimas Food Charity Fund and the Budimas Education Charity Fund.
In our conversation with Anne Rajasaikaran, the CEO of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, she gives us insights on how Budimas has been helping the urban poor in Malaysia with the three primary programmes they have developed.
Anne highlights the execution strategy and the focus for each of the programmes and the criteria they look for to ensure long term impact and sustainability. She also explains how the donations are allocated to those initiatives and emphasises that proper corporate governance is undertaken so the funds are spent wisely.
Finally, she also talks about what the foundation has been doing since the pandemic and the ways they are reaching out to those children to ensure they are fed and attending online classes.
