Medic Footprint aims to connect doctors to diverse careers in healthcare

ded in 2020, Medic Footprint Malaysia is the brainchild of Dr Selina Chew. Having learnt the hard way of what it’s like to have her career as a medical officer taken away due to a physical injury, she started the company to address the issue of alternative careers for medical doctors in the country.

Since its inception, the social enterprise has successfully connected doctors to other non-clinical careers, whilst simultaneously helping them make the career transition.

In our second conversation with Dr Selina, she touched on how the Medic Footprint platform has grown over the last two years, the firm’s 2nd Healthcare Diverse Careers Conference which will take place in August, including its plans to upskill doctors in 2023.
