Ordinary Folk is a Singapore-based telehealth startup dedicated to men and women’s health issues. Founded in 2020 by Sean Low, the startup has two main platforms: Noah which zeroes on men’s sexual health, mental wellness, hair care and weight management whilst Zoey focuses on sexual wellness, fertility, mental health and wellbeing.
According to founder Sean Low, Ordinary Folk aims to ease the pain points of an in-person clinical visit, whilst making it easier for people to seek care for stigmatised conditions such as erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, among others.
Our conversation with Sean explores the challenges faced by ordinary folks who find it difficult to access proper treatment and care for health conditions that have taboo attached to them and how the startup is providing a secure and discrete platform to address these pain points.
Sean shares about:
- What inspired him to start Ordinary Folk, including the company’s business strategy, growth to date, including the services it offers.
- How the company addresses stigma issues related to mens’ health such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, male pattern baldness, among others.
- How Ordinary Folk competes and differentiates itself from other digital platforms.
