CEO Conversations Show: Featuring Yayasan Hasanah

Yayasan Hasanah was started as an independent grant-making foundation on 1st July 2015, with the aim of creating greater impact that complements Khazanah’s efforts of developing Malaysia into a globally competitive nation.

Since its inception, the foundation has impacted over 1 million lives in Malaysia. Shahira walks us through its history, the reason for its formation and also talks about the foundation’s focus areas, the various projects it is involved in and how it has played a significant role during the pandemic, very much under the radar!

Yayasan Hasanah expanded its network to include 253 partner organisations and mobilised more than five times the projects it delivered in 2019. The foundation also doubled its outreach to more than 322,000 Malaysians in the past year via various humanitarian and relief initiatives.
