Women helping women key to gender equality at work

In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2023, we bring you a Women in Leadership Series, where we connect you with some of the most successful female leaders in the Asia Pacific region, to uncover the tenacity of each female leader, and how they pushed boundaries and rose to the top of their respective fields.

Our second guest for this series is Geraldine Kor, Managing Director for South Asia at Telstra. A technology veteran with over two decades of global and regional experience, Geraldine is responsible for Telstra’s growth across Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, India and Thailand where she works hand in hand with enterprises to help them navigate the complexities of digital transformation. 

In a conversation with Geraldine, she outlines the progress that has been made on gender equality at the workplace, including how women are now perceived in society. Being a woman in tech, Geraldine talks about the evolution of the sector, the rise in female representation within the industry and how companies are stepping up efforts to encourage women to pursue a career in tech.
