Greater Springfield is Australia’s newest city. Situated in one of the Australia’s fastest urban growth corridors, it has a planned CBD that is almost twice the size of Brisbane.
It is home today to 48,000 residents, 16,500 homes, 11 schools, a national university campus, a hospital and a railway line connecting it to Brisbane.
Maha Sinnathamby is the visionary who started it all in 1992, he tells us about the Greater Springfield area and why it is a city for the future and how he transformed what others called a wasteland into Australia’s newest city and in the process became a billionaire and one of Australia’s richest men.
Guest: Maha Sinnathamby, Chairman and Founder of Springfield City Group
Host: Brian Fernandez
