Singapore tightens policy in surprise move

• Singapore tightens monetary policy in a surprise move as economy grew 6.5 percent in the third quarter. Kelvin talks us through the possible reasons behind it and its implications.
• According to minutes from the September FOMC meeting, the Federal Reserve could begin reducing the pace of its monthly asset purchases as soon as mid-November. Kelvin discusses this and the policy dilemmas the Fed is facing.
