- Asian stocks look set to rally following US rebound halting a three-day slide, with investors migrating to value from growth companies as signs of a strengthening labor market tempered inflation worries.
- Oil prices dropped about 3% on Thursday as India’s coronavirus crisis deepened and a key US fuel pipeline resumed operations, but shortages continue.

The largest cryptocurrency dropped as much as 15 per cent to just above US$46,000, before paring some of the retreat.
- Jack Ma’s Ant Group profit rose to $3.4 billion in the December quarter, up 50% from 14.5 billion yuan in the previous three months, after Chinese regulators halted its record initial public offering.
