RHB Bank Lao has new CEO

RHB Banking Group (“RHB” or “The Group”) appoints Frankie Choong Seang Heng, as Chief Executive Officer of RHB Bank Lao Ltd., effective 1 November 2020. He replaces Danny Ling Chii Hian who will be taking up a new role within Group Retail Banking in Malaysia.

Choong has more than 30 years’ experience in branch management and operations. He has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RHB Bank Lao Ltd, since 1 February 2020.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Bachelor of Psychology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is also a Certified Financial Planner under the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia and Certified Credit Executive under the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.
