Zurich Malaysia appoints Khoo Ai Lin, who holds a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Banking & Finance from La Trobe University, Australia, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ZLIMB) effective 4 January 2021. She succeeds Stephen Clark, who remains as Executive Director for the company.
Khoo is no stranger to the industry, having charted more than 20 years of experience in various strategic and senior management roles across both the Life and General insurance segments, most recently as the Group CEO of Tune Protect Group.
In this role, Khoo will be responsible for leading and executing Zurich Malaysia’s strategic priorities to grow its life insurance business. She will be reporting to ZLIMB board of directors and brings to ZLIMB a proven track record in driving business growth and diversifying distribution channels.
According to Executive Director, Stephen Clark, Khoo has excellent understanding of the insurance markets in Malaysia with a compelling breadth of expertise ranging from life to general insurance as well as digital platforms and innovation in her portfolio.
