Benjamin Ang Head, Cyber and Homeland Defence, Centre of Excellence for National Security, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore joined Brian Fernandez in a conversation on the latest cybersecurity incidence and threats from around the Asia Pacific region.

• South Korea’s LG Uplus‘s apology for the recent leak of personal information of its customers and internet service failures caused by distributed DDoS attacks.
• Activists in Thailand sue the government for utilizing spyware technology to monitor dissidents, the first of such cases in the country which they hope will raise awareness and better protect fellow citizens who are subjected to increasing surveillance.
• Security researchers uncover a new malware campaign that has been targeting Chinese speakers throughout East and Southeast Asia.
