This industry has seen tremendous growth over the years, both in terms of viewership and revenue with analysts predicting that there will be 29.6 million monthly esports viewers in 2022, up 11.5% from 2021.
Most recently, a report by Insider Intelligence stated that in 2022, it is likely that the global esports market will generate somewhere in the ballpark of nearly USD2 billion in revenue and is expected to go higher in the coming years. In Asia alone, the explosive USD70 billion gaming market is teeming with opportunities for mobile, social, cloud, and esports gaming with big brands and mobile operators in particular clamoring for their share of this lucrative esports pie.
